New on realbuzz registrations: everydayhero fundraising integration

Here at The Realbuzz Group, charity fundraising is one of our core values. We’ve worked with events around the world to organise charity programmes, which have raised millions for a range of fantastic causes. That includes our pioneering charity programme that we set up for the Virgin Money London Marathon alongside their online entry system. The Virgin Money London Marathon has broken the fundraising world record for a single day fundraising event eleven years in a row, and we’re honoured to have played a part in that achievement.

It’s our goal to continually focus on making charity fundraising a core feature of realbuzz registrations, both from an event organiser and entrant point of view. That’s why we’re so pleased to announce that today we’ve expanded the fundraising potential of realbuzz registrations by adding integration with one of the leading platforms; everydayhero. This is now live and ready for you to use alongside our existing Go Fundraise integration.

Integrating everydayhero with your event on realbuzz registrations couldn’t be easier. First, you’ll need to have your campaign set up on everydayhero if you haven’t already. Check out everydayhero’s help guide for more information on how to do that. After that, all you’ll need to do is add your key integration details alongside the relevant entry process in your realbuzz registrations account, then you’re ready to go.

Once you’ve got everything set up, your entrants will see a new ‘Fundraising’ step in the online entry process you’ve chosen. From here they’ll be able to choose one of your partner charities to fundraise for, which will automatically set them up with an everydayhero profile and fundraising page. We’ve found that hosting integrated charity listings during online entry drastically improves the fundraising potential of events. Entrants are far more likely to support a charity when it’s a seamless step in the online entry process. Remember, you can add custom copy to the top of this fundraising page. This is the perfect avenue for outlining your fundraising mission as an event, and to explain how your charity programme works.


Your entrants will see a link to their personal fundraising page on the registration confirmation page, once they have completed their entry. One click and they will be redirected to everydayhero where they can personalise their page and start their fundraising. We’re also developing a dynamically generated snippet that will be added to e-tickets to give each entrant another link to their individual fundraising page URL, which will be released in early 2018.
